- Request for Information� For Soldier Training/Tactical Readiness Purpose: This Request for Information (RFI) is seeking to award one or more Other Transaction (OT) Agreement(s) for a Soldier training and tactical readiness system prototype in accordance with the authority of 10 USC �2371b. Summary: The Army Contracting Command � Orlando (ACC-ORL) on behalf of the Synthetic Training Environment Cross Functional Team, is requesting white papers for a Soldier training and tactical readiness system prototype.� The technical purpose of this prototype is to provide an ecosystem for enhanced live training capabilities. Within one year, the vendor shall provide one training/tactical readiness light infantry company sized kit. The prototype is to provide a system that requires no external infrastructure.� This enables live training anywhere, anytime, with no external support. Period of Performance: The anticipated award resulting from this white paper should be completed 12 months ACA. Request: Interested parties are requested to provide white paper responses outlining possible technical solutions, capabilities, technological challenges, and critical cost/schedule drivers related to the above mentioned problem and key desired capabilities. The Government is seeking Unlimited Rights. The cover page of the response shall include the company name, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, address, point of contact including phone number and email address, as well as the small business status of the responding company. There is no specified format for the white papers but they shall be limited to no greater than 5 pages and highlight the key desired capabilities.� Vendors must clearly outline how the eligibility requirements (nontraditional, small business, 1/3 cost not borne by Gov't, etc.) of an OT (as specified under 10 U.S. C. � 2371b) are met within their response. The onus for proof that the Solution Response meets the conditions for award lies with the submitting vendor Responses: The response shall be due no later than 12:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on April 26th, 2021.� The responses shall be emailed to the Agreements Specialist Becky Hoyt, rebecca.m.hoyt.mil@mail.mil, with a courtesy copy to the Agreements Officers Megan Weidner, megan.d.weidner.civ@mail.mil and Don Wagoner, donald.j.wagoner2.civ@mail.mil. Disclaimer: Under the authority of 10 U.S.C. � 2371b, the Government intends to award one or more agreements from this RFI. No guarantee negotiations or subsequent award would be made resulting from this white paper response. This is not a commitment by the U.S. Government to procure subject products or services nor will the Government reimburse any parties for costs associated with this request.
