Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services, prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the FAR and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 2121401Y61A1398003 applies, and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-05 (AUG 2019). This procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238310 and the business size standard is $16,500,000.00. �U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by the Agency. Companies must have valid DUNS numbers and be registered with System for Award Management (SAM) @ www.sam.gov and shall provide the company Tax Information Number (TIN) with their offer. The closing date and time for receipt of quote is _April 1, 2021_, at _12_ p.m. Eastern Standard Time. � ITEM 0001 � INSULATE AND COVER PIPING The Coast Guard requires a contractor to install and lag approximately 1,500 linear feet of piping in accordance with the attached SOW. Period of performance for this contract will be on or about 05/24/21 to 06/04/21. Systems to be insulated include: Chilled Water - 140-WTGB-514-019 Hot Water - 140-WTGB-514-016 Condensate Drain - 140-WTGB-528-006 Condensate Drain - 140-WTGB-528-008 The contractor will be required to insulate various irregular shaped items such as valves, fittings and flanges. In addition, the contractor shall provide all materials, personal and equipment needed to perform all work as required. Insulation should be snug to piping with no gaps. Brattice cloth should be cover the insulation and be coated with Sealfas. Piping to be insulated will vary in size from 1/2 Inch to 4 Inch. The type of insulation to be installed shall be Armaflex AP or equal. The type of jacket to be installed is brattice cloth and Sealfas over the Armaflex insulation. The thickness of the insulation is 3/4 Inch (MIL-P-15280). Contractor must have experience in installing Armaflex pipe insulation and brattice cloth with Sealfas. Workers must be trained and have experience in properly installing pipe insulation. � PRICING:�� 1 JOB� $����������������������__________________ � �� The closing date and time for receipt of quote is April 1, 2021 @ 12:00 P.M. Coast Guard Yard, Baltimore, Md is a controlled access area.� All contractors and subcontractors performing work on this contract shall utilize the RAPIDGate program.� RapidGate manages a non-Common Access Credential (CAC) eligible vendor/contractor companies and their employees who require access to Coast Guard Yard, Baltimore.� Vendor/Contractor CAC eligibility has been restricted to only those who require physical access to Coast Guard Yard and logical access to a DOD or DHS network or system. All personnel shall receive visitor�s passes and clearance from USCG Coast Guard Security located at the main gate.� List of personnel needing access shall be provided to the COR twenty-four (24) hours prior to requiring access.� Personnel will be required to provide full name, picture I.D.
