Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. PROJECT TITLE:� CHL027 Fall Protection Improvements, Chena River Lakes Flood Control Project, North Pole, Alaska DESCRIPTION OF WORK:� This project is to evaluate and construct fall protection improvements for various features of the Chena River Lakes Flood Control Project.� Features of the Chena River Lakes Flood Control Project include, but are not limited to, the control works, low point drain, south seepage collector channel and weir, floodway sheet pile cells and elevated sections of roadway.� Fall protection measures must comply with US Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual EM 385-1-1, Section 24 SAFE ACCESS. �Examples of fall protection measures include fencing, guardrails, handrails, spiral stairs and fall protection anchors.���� The Contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, supervision and other items and/or services necessary to accomplish the work.� Estimated award date of the contract is July 2021.� Construction will occur in 2021 with a completion date of October 2021.� Construction wage rates will apply. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990, Heavy and Other Civil Construction, and the related size standard is $39.5 Million.� The estimated dollar magnitude of this project is less than $250,000.00 Interested firms should submit a capabilities package (not exceeding 3 pages) demonstrating the ability to perform the work listed above.� Packages should include the following information: (1)� Company name, address, DUNS number and business size under NAICS 237990. (2) �Type of small business if applicable (8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Woman Owned, etc.). (3)� Demonstration of the firm�s experience as a prime contractor on projects of similar size and scope.� List up to three (3) actual projects completed and include project title, location and a brief description of the project including dollar amount and work that was self-performed. (4)� The firm�s single project bonding limit.
