- Description
- Air Force Lifecycle Management Center seeks sources for a windshield assembly replacement for the current F-15EX windshield assembly, part number 68A530016. The Government is looking for organizations with the ability to provide a windshield assembly to support the production of F-15EX aircraft. The Government�s primary objective is to field a windshield assembly that will allow replacement of the windshield transparency without the need to replace the entire windshield assembly. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes � it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Air Force is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party�s expense. Failure to respond to this RFI will not preclude participation in a future RFP, if issued. RFI Response, Submittal, and Instructions. Interested parties are requested to respond to this RFI with UNCLASSIFIED RESPONSES by completing the RFI Response Form. If responses must be sent at a higher classification level, please contact the POCs listed within this notice. Responses shall be submitted via email only to Michael Swanger, michael.swanger.1@us.af.mil no later than 11 June 2021 5:00 PM EST. An email confirming receipt will be sent. Proprietary information, if any, should be minimized and MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED. To aid the Government, please segregate proprietary information. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. See attachments for�RFI description, background, and specifically requested information.
