Description
This notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24221B0038, Project Number 561-18-107A Upgrade Pharmacy to 800HD at Building 1, 8th floor of East Orange Campus of VA New Jersey Healthcare System, 385 Tremont Avenue, East Orange, New Jersey 07018-1023. This shall be a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)Set-Aside. As a result, all SDVOSBs may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 236220 and has a size standard of $36.5 Million. The cost estimate range for this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Scope of Work: The scope of work shall generally consist of, but not limited to the following: The contractor will furnish all materials, equipment, supervision, and personnel necessary to accomplish Project Number 561-18-107A Upgrade Pharmacy to 800HD at East Orange VAMC. General Construction: The contractor shall provide, but not limited to a complete construction service, including all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to perform general construction, alterations, necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items as shown in the AE drawings and specifications. The contractor contract shall be for complete construction service including submittals, as-built drawings for all units as shown on the AE drawings and specifications. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for renovation and repairs to existing Rooms 8-204D (Sterile Compounding), 8-206 (Pharmacy) and 8-206A (HD Compounding) in the 8th Floor Pharmacy Suite and including alteration/expansion of associated mechanical, electrical and plumbing components as required by drawings and specifications. Work shall be coordinated with facility thru the Contracting Office Representative (COR). COR will monitor the contractor work performance on daily basis and the contractor is required to submit daily s progress report to the COR. Contractor shall take all measures for safety & infection control and provide all material necessary for protecting existing equipment and property in affected areas of construction against dust and debris, so that equipment and affected areas to be used in the Medical Centers operations will not be hindered. Contractor shall permit access to Department of Veterans Affairs personnel and patients through other construction areas which serve as routes of access to such affected areas and equipment. Coordinate alteration work in areas occupied by Department of Veterans Affairs so that Medical Center operations will continue during the construction period. Minimize interference of construction activities with flow of Medical Center traffic, keep roads, walks and entrances to grounds, to parking and to occupied areas of buildings clear of construction materials, debris and standing construction equipment and vehicles. Project Completion: The contract completion time is 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed date. All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on https://beta.sam.gov/. The solicitation will be released on or about June 30, 2021. The response submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding and all responses/submissions to the solicitation to be posted later shall be in hardcopies. Faxed or e-mailed bids will not be accepted. All prospective bidders must be currently registered in www.sam.gov , www.dnb.com (Duns and Bradstreet)and be registered and verified as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)in www.vip.vetbiz.gov at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement. This presolicitation notice is not an invitation to submit a bid. If any SDVOSB is interested, submit your firms capability statement by the due date. End of Description.
