Description
4-19-2021 The Correct Due Date for this Solicitation is 4-26-2021.� As the project documents state until 4/26/2021 and not 4/20/2021.� This will allow for all potential proposals to be submitted at the same time without conflict. RFI Questions & Answers uploaded in attachments/Links 21 04 05 * The General Services Administration (GSA) Southeast Sunbelt Region 4 announces the opportunity for a Design Build General Construction Alterations for the Social Security Administration 20th Floor at the Sam Nunn AFC located at 100 Alabama Street, Atlanta, Georgia. The Design/Build�on the 20th Floor at the Sam Nunn AFC. Objectives will be accomplished by a HUBZone, small business concerns who is capable of making the upgrades as detailed in the Scope of Work. The project includes space alterations, consisting of demolition and installation of; new partitions, renovation of offices, conference/meeting rooms, break rooms, DCR rooms, and associated areas. Work shall include new finishes, electrical modifications supplemental HVAC, and sprinkler and fire alarm systems modifications as needed. This project will follow a design build method using a design build contractor (DB Contractor or Contractor) who shall carry sole responsibility for the fulfillment of the terms and conditions of the entire design build contract. The Design/Build Contractor will be responsible for all Architect-Engineer services and construction services. This project is to provide design and construction services for the Social Security Administration. The work includes design services�(Full set of construction documents) and construction services for office space on the 20th Floor. The project shall consist of two phases, Design and Construction. Phase I � 1-30- Design Phase Phase II � 31-150- Construction The factors below in descending order of importance will be used to evaluate all proposals. All information requested is required. Failure to provide any information requested by the Factors will result in an unsuccessful proposal submission. The contractor will provide information on �similar� projects. �Similar� is defined as projects comparable in terms of scope, magnitude, and complexity. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conformed to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government in accordance with Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (FAR15.101-2). Price is a factor in selecting and awarding the contract to a responsible contractor who exhibited and demonstrated performance with other similar requirements of same or equal dollar value of this award. The Technical Factors: �Factor 1- Experience on Similar Projects �Factor 2- Past Performance of Offeror �Factor 3- Key Personnel Evaluation Process: The evaluation process will be conducted by the CO and the technical evaluation board in accordance with Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Evaluation Process. �As outline in the solicitation this procurement The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror(s) whose proposal(s) represents the best value from the selection of the technically acceptable proposal with the lowest evaluated price Evaluation Procedures: Proposals shall be evaluated as set forth in the RFP. Upon receipt of proposals the CO will rank proposals in order of price from lowest total evaluated price to highest total evaluated price. The Technical Evaluation Board will then evaluate the technical acceptability of the lowest priced proposal based on the technical factors and the evaluation standards outlined in the solicitation. �If the lowest priced proposal is determined to be technically acceptable the source selection process will be complete, and an award will be recommended.
