Description

AMCOM Logistics Center has a requirement for contractor support to provide inspection and overhaul on the Control Unit Display in order to return the items as specified by Section B, to condition code A as defined by Army Regulation 725-50. The contractor shall furnish all services, facilities, labor, parts, materials, equipment, tools, and data necessary to complete the inspection and upgrade/overhaul. The following information is provided for the Control Unit Display. PRID: BB686 PRON: AX1MU006AX Weapon System: UH-60 Noun: Control Unit Display Input / Output NSN: 1680-01-533-8587 Input / Output P/N: 10150-0204 Min Quantity: 72, Max Quantity: 480 (FMS: 790) The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413 and the size standard is 1250 employees. Interested parties who have the capability to perform the above effort should respond to this notice and identify your business size and socio-economic status as applicable. All submissions must include full company names, Point of Contacts (POCs) to include, name, position, office and mobile telephone numbers and email address. �The Control Unit Display is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). No DMWR has been identified for this effort. Currently the only known source due to proprietary rights for the overhaul/upgrade for the Control Unit Display is Simmonds Precision Products, INC. (CAGE Code 89305). ACC-RSA intends to award a sole source contract to Simmons Precision Products under The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by paragraph 6.302-1(a)(2) of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) entitled, �Only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� The closing date annotated is an estimate date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
