Description
Statement of Work Background The Phoenix Indian Medical Center uses compressed air to control the mixing boxes in the hospital. One compressor was replaced, this compressor will be the redundant unit to back-up the newly replaced compressor. Objective The objective of this contract is to remove and replace the old compressor with a Chicago Pneumatic QRS-15 to match the compressor we just replaced. This will improve the reliability of the pneumatic air control system. One compressor was replaced and we need a redundant unit to make sure the system is reliable. System Requirements The system shall have the capacity to maintain 150 PSI and have a flow rate of about 50 cfm, the machine is rated at 56.3 cfm at 125 PSI. A low sound enclosure. Continuous operating capability. ASME Receiver Mounted (60 gallon 3-7.5 HP) (120 gallon 10-15HP) Tri-Voltage TEFC motor, 460 Volt Vibration Isolated Assembly Simple Maintenance with spin on oil filter and separator UL and UL-C approved control panel Included air dryer Contract Awardee Responsibilities & Tasks The awarded vendor shall be fully responsible for removing and replacing the compressor. The contractor shall also place new conductors from the motor control center to a new disconnect and provide new conduit and flexible ducting to the new unit. The new compressor shall be set up to run on 460 V. The contractor shall also pipe the discharge air from the machine to the existing piping, the contractor will look at the other system to match the piping needed. Support and Maintenance Services The contractor shall observe all safety precautions including �lock-out tag-out�. Training The contractor shall provide training as requested from the power plant personnel for maintenance and operation. Web Requirements No web requirements. Period of Performance (POP) Performance of the contract(s) shall be from 30 days from contract award. Minimum Qualifications Contractor shall have a minimum of �5 years of experience in mechanical equipment installation and the electrical subcontractor shall have at least 5 years in commercial/industrial electrical installation. Preferred Evaluation Method Lowest Price technically acceptable. Delivery Delivery and installation to all items is required within 60 days after receipt of order or sooner.� Vendor shall contact the COR listed below for schedule and delivery of services after contract award. Contracting Officer Authority Authority to negotiate changes in the terms, conditions, or amounts cited in this contract is reserved for the Contracting Officer. The Contractor agrees to include the following information on each invoice. (1) Contractors name, address; (2) Contract Number (entire contract number must be included); (3) Invoice number and date; (4) Cost or price; (5) Dates of Service including the number of hours worked; and (6) Remit to address.
