- **********************NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION********************** THIS IS NEITHER A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) NOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP).� DO NOT SUBMIT PRICING OR PRICE-RELATED INFORMATION.� On 11 May 2017, then President Trump issued Executive Order 13800, Strengthening the Cybersecurity of Federal Networks and Critical Infrastructure to improve the Nation�s cyber posture and capabilities in the face of intensifying cybersecurity threats. EO 13800 focuses Federal efforts on modernizing Federal information technology infrastructure, working with state and local government and private sector partners to more fully secure critical infrastructure, and collaborating with foreign allies. The Department of the Treasury�s overall mission of cyber security is to assure the appropriate protection of cyber information, services, and assets.� Security is critical to Treasury�s daily operations and fulfillment of its mission, which relies on protection of both sensitive unclassified and national security systems throughout the Department.� The Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002 (FISMA) provides the overall information security policy framework and sets cyber security requirements for systems throughout the Federal Government.� Each Treasury Bureau operates and maintains an information security program consistent with Federal and Departmental requirements and we work to leverage the skills, knowledge, and lessons learned among the Bureaus.� The Treasury Office of Inspector General (TOIG) will issue a solicitation via GSA eBuy as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside in June 2021 for Cyber Security Assessment Services.� The objective is to obtain systems security services support and enhance the mission assurance posture of the TOIG network by conducting a comprehensive cybersecurity assessment and mitigations for protecting TOIG information, assets, operations, individuals, while ensuring that regulatory and compliance requirements are met. All interested Small Business concerns must�submit an email�with the subject line ""BetaSAM Notice TOIG-2021-0002"" along with the following information to the POC identified in this�notice in order to be notified when the solicitation is issued via GSA eBuy.� Phone calls will not be accepted nor returned.
