- Description
- Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 1901 the VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with ProVation Medical for System upgrade and data migration services at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Hospital in Chicago IL. The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to ensure the migration of data for the ProVation program onto new servers and to ensure continued correct performance that is required for ongoing Gastroenterology and Pulmonary procedures at Jesse Brown VA. Contractor shall support migration of ProVation program data onto new servers, assisting with coordinated updating of software and implementation of the program on new Windows 10 workstations and supporting installation and proper operation of the recommended peripherals; (technical support). ProVation is a software program from ProVation Medical INC. It is essential for obtaining endoscopy photos and creating reports of endoscopy and bronchoscopy procedures. Accurate data acquisition and reporting of these procedures is critical to patient care at the Jesse Brown VA. Technical Support - is required for the migration of ProVation data onto new servers, as part of routine maintenance upgrade. This is a time-sensitive project due to legacy Windows 7 workstations that are breaking down and are obsolete. We also require peripheral hardware determined by the Wolters Kluwer company to meet the specifications to be deemed compatible with the program. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified acquisition procedures as implemented in FAR 13.106-3(b)(3)(i), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This will be a firm fixed price contract for a one-time service. The NAICS Code is 541511. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Contracting Officer will proceed with the sole source negotiation with ProVation Medical INC.
