Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive proposal.� However, if interested, Government shall consider all responses.� Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) intends to solicit a proposal and enter into a contract with Cepheid, Sunnyvale, CA.� The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) per FAR 6.302-1(c).� Contract will be evaluated on Low Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA).� Please reference N63116-21-Q-0530 on all quotes. The NAICS code for this contract will be 811219.� NHRC requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with System for Award Management (SAM).� No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in SAM. �For additional information and to register to SAM, please access the following website: https;//www.sam.gov/.� In order to register with SAM and be eligible to receive an award from this Acquisition Office, all offerors must have a DUN & Bradstreet Number.� A DUN & Bradstreet Number may be acquired free of charge by contacting DUN & Bradstreet online at https://dnb.com/products/eupdate/requestOptions.html or by phone at (800) 333-0505. Maintenance is being requested for equipment in laboratories at Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) in San Diego.� All maintenance will be performed at San Diego 92152.� As NHRC is a Government facility, no sales tax will be paid.� All quotes must include the Company Name, Full Address, CAGE Code and Point of Contact information including Name, Phone Number and E-Mail address.� All invoices for this maintenance order will be submitted electronically through Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) - Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). This contract will require base access for all personnel maintaining equipment. In order to access Naval Health Research Center at Naval Base Point Loma, service providers will need to be enrolled in the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS). Providing registration information is voluntary. However, failure to provide Social Security Number and Driver's License Number or other acceptable identification may result in a denial of access. Additional information on the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) can be found athttps://dbids-global.dmdc.mil/enroll#!/ Description of Requirement: This Contract will be awarded for an Annual Maintenance Service Contract for a GENEXPERT INFINITY48S (48 MODULE).� The Serial number is 837129. Service Coverage: 24x7 Phone Support Onsite 5x10 hours (8AM 6PM) Annual Preventative Maintenance Check-up performed by Field Service Engineer Includes Parts, Labor & Travel Software Upgrades included 98% Uptime Guarantee Service will be performed at Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) at Naval Base Point Loma, San Diego, CA. Base Year: Period of Performance: 29 April 2021 to 28 April 2022 Option Year 1: Period of Performance: 29 April 2022 to 28 April 2023 Contract will be for a base year plus one option year. �Contract will be written that includes funding for the Base Year and the dollar values but no funding for the Option Year. �As the Option Year approaches, both NHRC and the vendor will have the option to exercise or choose not to exercise the Option Year. �If both NHRC and the vendor agree, at the end of the Base Year, funding will be added to the first Option Year. �Quotes are required for the base and each option year.
