Description
The USDA Agricultural Research Services Division, Plains Area Anthropod-Borne Animal Disease Center in Manhattan, Kansas is interested in purchasing the following items: ? An�electrospinner and electrosprayer capabilities with the following components: ? 20kV Power Supply Controller which has a single voltage output range of 0 V to 20 kV (positive) ? Co-axial extension package ? 1 Software controlled Syringe Pumps to drive the fluid with an infusion rate of 0.75 ?l/hr to a maximum 2100 ml/hr (maximum syringe size is 60cc) . ? Electrospinning Platform (Base, Flat Plate Collector for collecting fibers, Z-axis Emitter Positioner, HV emitter Holder) ? Imaging System which is camera capable for viewing the Taylor Cone. Prefer a Spraybase 20kV Electrospinning and Electrospraying Kit (Model A-0033-0001-03) and Coaxial Expansion Pack (Model A-0138-0001-01).� Another brand with similar specifications may be considered. This purchase will include�a Spraybase� (or equivalent) 20 kV, 1 bar Power Supply Controller with�a single voltage output range of 0 V to 20 kV (positive) and up to 1 bar pressure output, The maximum fluidic capacity of the Electrospraying Pressure Vessel is 250 mL and the pressure output is 0.000 to 1.000 bar. Spraybase� Syringe Pump is software controlled to drive the fluid with an infusion rate of 0.75 ?l/hr to a maximum 2100 ml/hr (maximum syringe size is 60 cc). 1 x 30G emitter (Custom Single Emitter) and 1 x Tube C. 1 x 18G emitter (Custom Single Emitter) and 1 x Tube F. Our standard research unit also includes a Spraybase� Electrospraying Platform (Base, Dish Collector for sample collection, Dish Collector Grounding Block, Z-axis Emitter Positioner, HV emitter Holder) in additon to a Flat Plate Collector for collecting fibers Safety Cover interlocked for high voltage. Finally a Spraybase� Imaging System is a camera capable of viewing and recording the Taylor cone and Electrospraying Illumination Source to illuminate the plume. Note this product requires a Compressed Air Source & Laptop/PC are not included. Spraybase� Syringe Pump includes a software licence - note licences are single use only and not transferable between devices. Coaxial Expansion Pack has Quick Start Coaxial Emitter with standard 20 G outside and 26 G inside. The inside and outside needles are the same length at 10mm from the hub. Including 2x Tubing F - 1.0 mm tubing with male luer to female 1/4""- 28 adaptor and female luer to female 1/4 ""- 28 adaptor.
