- Description
- The 81st Contracting Squadron at Keesler Air Force Base is conducting market research to procure Architect and Engineering (A&E) design services. The services will consist of, but not limited to: (1) Alteration and repair of grounds, roads, buildings, and structures; (2) Alteration and repair of utilities; (3) Alteration and repair of various types of mechanical systems, to include HVAC and associated controls, fire protection, steam plants, steam distribution and piping, waste treatment, and other mechanical systems; (4) Alteration and repair of various types of lighting and power distribution systems; (5) Feasibility, traffic, and other studies; (6) Conceptual renderings; and (7) Topographical and geodetic surveys. This requirement also includes Title II, A&E services for Inspection of Construction Services. The Engineering capabilities include Construction Inspection, Pre-Construction Design, and review and constructability consultation for Design Build & Construction projects. If the research supports it and the information is available, the intent is to later solicit and award Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts, to firms within a 75 mile radius of Keesler AFB, MS. The anticipated ceiling of each IDIQ is $20M with a minimum order guarantee of $500; however, this information could change as research is conducted. The procedures outlined in FAR 36.6 will be utilized. The projected contract period of performance for all IDIQ contracts awarded will be for five years. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist and�to assist in determining if this effort can be set-aside for small business concerns.
