- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Precision Strike Weapons Program Office (PMA-201), awarded a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) modification to The Boeing Company against Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-16-G-0001 on 10 September 2020. This modification provides for the procurement of Flight Termination System (FTS) Trays for the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Initial Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Training Program. This modification was awarded on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements.� The Boeing Company is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the Harpoon/SLAM-ER Weapon System and its related equipment. The Boeing Company alone has the technical data, experience, requisite knowledge, technical expertise, special skills and facilities required to provide the services anticipated under these orders. The Boeing Company is the sole owner of technical data for Harpoon/SLAM-ER and therefore is the only responsible source that can meet the Government's requirement. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the effort mentioned above.
