- NOTICE OF INTENT THIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.� Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, intends to issue a contract modification, on a sole source basis, to the following Architect Engineering Firm hereafter referred to as the Designer of Record (DOR): CDM Federal Programs Corporation (CDM) This sole source contract action is required for completion of the following scope of work: This will be a modification to an existing task order, W912EP20F0194, for design services for Pinero Avenue Bridge over Josefina Creek under the Rio Puerto Nuevo Project.� Additionally, this task order includes the demolition of the existing bridge, improvements of the Josefina Creek channel under the bridge from Station 22+25 to Station 24+50, as well as upstream (Station 25+00) and downstream transitions (Station 21+50) from the improved channel to the existing channel. The task order requires modifications which includes almost 2,000 LF of additional channel design as well as bridge and channel optimization. As the Designer of Record for this project, CDM is in a unique position to have and be familiar with all the information required to complete this modification to the existing contract. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice of intent. This Notice of Intent is hereby published in accordance with FAR 5.201.� All responses received within 15 days of the posting of this notice, will be considered by the Government.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
