- Intend to Award Sole Source to: Advanced Sterilization Products Services INC. THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Central Alabama Health Care System intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one source to: ADVANCED STERILIZATION PRODUCTS SERVICES INC. 33 Technology Drive Irvine, CA 92618 The objective of this sole source award is to acquire annual preventive maintenance and any subsequent repairs for Sterrad Sterilizer maintenance/servce. Sole source is based on only one responsible source as ASP is the sole Sterrad certified service /parts source. Contractor has provided Manufacturer Sole Source Authorized Service Letter. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 811219; the business size standard is $22 million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All information received by 1200PM EST on April 24, 2018 may be considered by the Government. Responses shall be submitted to Lynette Lane, Contract Specialist at Lynette.Lane2@va.gov. The email subject line shall state, Birmingham VA Medical Center , Intent to Sole Source to ASP. . A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
