- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Louisville District will be soliciting proposals for the Repair/Renovate Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) Headquarters Building 10262 Phases 1 and 2 project at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. As part of the construction contract solicitation, the USACE intends to include the following sole source requirement:� HVAC Direct Digital Controls (DDC) � The Direct Digital Controls (DDC) selected for use on the AFMC Headquarters Renovation project at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio will be manufactured by either Johnson Controls or Siemens.� Wright-Patterson Air Force Base has a base-wide Energy Management Control System in place.� Those two manufacturers provide products that are able to fully coordinate and communicate with the existing base-wide system.� Johnson Controls and Siemens both have offices worldwide, with regional offices in the Dayton, Ohio area.
