- Update to the Advanced Radar Threat System-Variant 4 (ARTS-V4) Acquisition The purpose of this notice is to notify industry partners of an update on recent developments regarding the ARTS-V4 Acquisition. The Government is currently in the process of submitting requirements documents through the Aviation & Missile Technology Consortium (AMTC) OTA. Industry feedback obtained from this announcement will help inform the ARTS-V4 Acquisition Strategy Panel which will be formalized later this summer.� AMTC will publish a request for members to submit enhanced white papers (EWPs). �To be eligible to submit an EWP, parties must be a member of the AMTC consortium.� Instructions on how to join are detailed at https://www.amtcenterprise.org/. � This announcement is being conducted solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. Unsolicited proposals or any other kinds of offers will not be considered or accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and no information will be returned. The U.S. Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement. Any costs incurred by interested companies in response to this announcement will NOT be reimbursed. Any information obtained will be considered market research and may be used as a general concept, however any specific information will be treated as proprietary information and safeguarded, if marked as proprietary. The most current version of the System Performance Specification (SPS) is titled: �Advanced Radar Threat System (ARTS-V4) SPS Version 7 dated 24 March 2020�. The Government will provide a Capabilities Development Document (CDD) to help inform your EWPs on a solution that will meet the CDD requirements but potentially open up trades on some SPS items. This will help get a more affordable system fielded faster while still meeting the requirements as outlined in the CDD.
