- Description
- The purpose of this notice is to advise current CWN agreement holders of the following:� The �2019 solicitation stated we would be soliciting for additional agreements and helicopters in 2021.� We will not be conducting this process.� The rationale behind this is as follows: The Forest Service has been developing a new Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracting format we are labelling as Type I/II Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC�s).� We will be issuing a solicitation for this new format in the near future. �The purpose of the new format will be the avenue to fulfill all �the Forest Service�s contracting requirements via Task Orders for future helicopter requirements. Once the new MATOC contracts have been established, the Forest Service will subsequently cancel the existing CWN agreements at some point in the future.� Accordingly, all helicopter contractors are advised that they should offer on the MATOC solicitation to be eligible for future contracting opportunities.
