Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Office of History has a requirement to purchase the services stated below.� This procurement will be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures.� All questions must be received by Wednesday 21 April 2021, 4:30 pm EST.� Quotes must be received no later than Friday 7 May 2021, 4:30 pm EST. Electronic quotes submitted via email are required.� Email questions and quotes to the Contract Specialist, David A. Kaplan at david.a.kaplan@usace.army.mil. It is the Offeror�s responsibility to ensure the quote has been received by the contracting office via email.� Fax quotes will not be accepted. Late quotes will be processed in accordance with FAR 52.212-1(f) �Late submission, modifications, revisions, and withdrawals of offers.� Upon receipt of the electronic offer, the Government will acknowledge receipt of that offer via email to the Offeror. The Office of History, HQ, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is preparing a series of survey histories on selected topics on the history of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers from the American Revolution to the present. For this volume, the Louisville District, Corps of Engineers, (Corps) has identified the need to prepare a professional manuscript regarding the history of Lock and Dam 52 (L&D52) in Massac County, IL and Lock and Dam 53, Pulaski County, IL (L&D53), located on the Ohio River.
