Provide responses to the following questions: What are the wage rate and classification/ labor rate for this project? Refer to the solicitation. Do you need NADCA certification for the project? Yes, NFPA 96 IKECA Certification is required. Can we receive drawings for each building?  If so, when will we receive them? A blueprint for Building 139 is available only. What hours would a lift be available for completion of work?  Contractor can receive lift M-F between 7:00am and 5:00pm EST. Some of the hoods are missing filters?  Is the awarded contractor responsible to replace the missing filters in our price? No, the contractor is not responsible for the missing filter. Can we use steam to clean the hoods and the exhaust fans?  Yes, you can use steam to clean the hoods. Is the awarded contractor able to work at each kitchen on the same day? Yes, but only during the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm EST. Which months will the project be completed on? The month of May for the first cleaning and later in October for the second (BI-ANNUAL) Cleaning. The bid documents do not require a post report with before and after pictures. Please confirm that the report is not a requirement. This is not a requirement and not listed on SOW Does this solicitation require certified Kitchen hood cleanings / be IKECA certified?   Yes, bidders must be IKECA certified. Does the certified cleaner need to attend all cleanings? Yes, they need to attend and inspect all hood cleanings as stated in the SOW. Are there COVID-19 procedures in place for venders? Yes, vendors must check in get temperature checked wear a sticker and a mask.
