- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract to perform maintenance dredging of the Manteo Oregon Inlet Entrance and Interior Channels. The project includes Maintenance Dredging using a Hopper Dredge of the Oregon Inlet Entrance Channel and Interior Channels, Outer Banks, North Carolina.� Dredge locations will be located on the ocean bar at the entrance channel to Oregon Inlet and may potentially include interior channels west of the Basnight Bridge.� Project depths at the ocean bar are 16ft +1ft overdepth and the interior channels are 13ft +1ft overdepth.� The disposal location will be in an approved nearshore placement area located to the south of Oregon Inlet just offshore of Pea Island, NC.� The District is seeking a contract to be paid by bin measurement for this work. This solicitation is un-restricted. � The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.00.� This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about 17�May 2021.� The bid opening date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, facsimiles, etc) will be provided.�� Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 � Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction and the size standard is $30,000,000.00.� Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible to receive an award from any Government solicitation.
