- Description
- The work to be done consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials as well as performing all work in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications for Flexible Pavement Requirements and Miscellaneous Construction and Repairs at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.� All work performed by the Contractor shall result in a complete and functional system. Typical work includes, but is not be limited to; a. Flexible Pavement Items: Partial and full depth patching asphalt patching, resurfacing and aggregate base. b. Earthwork, excavation, dirt spoils or fill, and fine grading. c. Miscellaneous Items: crack repair on flexible pavements and pavement striping. All will be in accordance with individual task order requirements, specifications and drawings provided with each project and/or master specifications. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 237310 (Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction). The small business size standard is $16.5 million average annual revenue for the previous five years. This requirement will be a Total Small Business set-aside procured utilizing Sealed Bidding Procedures specified in FAR Part 14. The government anticipates an award will be made to a responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation for bids; will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price related factors included in the invitation. This anticipated contract will consist of a Base Award Period of one (1) calendar year, and two (2) one-year option periods. Total contract period, to include options, shall not exceed three (3) calendar years. Task Orders will range from $2,500.00 to $300,000.00. The total of individual task orders placed against this contract shall not exceed $6,500,000.00. UPDATE: All questions concerning the IFB shall be submitted to the attention of Mr. Felipe D. Zaragoza and Mr. Robert M. Parvin via e-mail at: usarmy.leavenworth.acc-micc.mbx.construction@mail.mil not later than 2:00 P.M. CST (Central Standard Time), on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. A response from the Government is estimated to be not later than 15 days prior to the closing of the IFB in the form of an amendment.
