Description
Simpson Springs Campground Redevelopment The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), West Desert District/Salt Lake Field Office intends to award a single, firm-fixed price contract for the installation of a government furnished kiosk and fee tube, redevelopment of 12 camp sites, improve 3 existing yard hydrants and the road improvements in the Simpson Springs Campground. The Contractor shall minimize disturbance to the site to the greatest extent possible unless otherwise directed. All waste, trash, and debris generated from this effort shall be disposed of in a manner consistent with local and State regulations. During and after construction activities, the site shall be inspected and cleaned of any trash that has accumulated. Work under this contract is located in Tooele County, Utah at the Simpson Springs Campground Site, approximately 25.5 miles southwest of Vernon, UT, on the Pony Express Road. Access to the work site is on State, County, and BLM paved and gravel roads. The work locations are shown on the attached Site Map. The contract period of performance is 90 days from issuance of the notice to proceed. A site visit will be held on May 11, 2021 at 11:00 am MT at the project site (see attached map) and attendance is highly encouraged. This project will be 100% set aside for small business vendors under the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 237990 - Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. Davis Bacon Act (DBA) is applicable and the appropriate DBA Wage Determination(s) will be included in the solicitation. Request for Quote (RFQ) under solicitation number 140L5721Q0024, will be posted electronically at beta.sam.gov on or about April 30, 2021. These dates are subject to change. To obtain the solicitation and/or amendments/updates for this project, contractors shall monitor the solicitation at the sites listed above. Interested parties shall periodically check for amendments and other changes to the solicitation documents. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guaranteed notification. Subscribers to this service are ultimately responsible for reviewing this site for all information relevant to this solicitation. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000 and $250,000. No bid bond is required but a payment bond is required. To be considered eligible for award, vendors must be registered and have active profiles with completed representations and certifications in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (https://www.sam.gov). There is NO fee to register for this site.
