- Description
- This is a Combined Synopsis Solicitation. Please see attached RFQ. ************************************************************************************************************************************************* Question(s) and Answer(s) are posted to this RFQ per Amendment A001. No SF-30 is available for signature. 1. Do you know the size of the wafer? Answer: We use four-inch wafers. 2. Do you know how many dispense tips the end user requires? Answer: There is no specific number we require, but we plan to dispense material that may clog the tips. We need to be able to replace them regularly ourselves on-site at NIST The RFQ closing date remains unchanged. ************************************************************************************************************************************************* Question(s) and Answer(s) are posted to this RFQ per Amendment A002. No SF-30 is available for signature. 1. What kind of fluid is being dispensed? Viscosity, concentration, solvent, description of the fluid, datasheet, Answer: The fluid will be water or alcohol. There will be salts and a variety of other chemicals dissolved in the fluid. 2. If the fluid contents particle, how big they are and their concentration? Answer: No particles will be dispensed. 3. Dispensing volume: single dispensing volume and throughput per second. Answer: We require single drop volumes between 100 pL and 50 nL. There is no throughput requirement. 4. How many dispenser heads do you need at the same time? Answer: One. 5. Size of the substrate/chip and the printed area? Answer: Substrate is 4 inch wafer. Printed area down to (100 microns)^2 6. Requirements for substrate fixation? Answer: Some method to stop the substrate from moving is required, but not specified. 7. Layout of the printed structure (dot matrix, lines, homogeneous area, )? Answer: Dot matrix 8. Do you are interested in the option to upgrade the system to more dispenser heads later? Answer: No. 9. Moving range for the xy positioning system (computer programmed automated liquid dispensing system) e.g. 200mm x 200mm, 300mm x 300mm, ? Answer: 100 mm x 100 mm minimum. 10. Is it used for lab application or production? Answer: Lab 11. Description of the application. Answer: Chemical physics experiments. ====================================================================================== The question and answers opportunity is are now closed and no more questions will be answers. The RFQ closing date remains unchanged.
