Description

The Government is conducting market research via this RFI to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to manufacture the C5 Survival Kit Container (1680011761131UC / Part Number 115053-10).� Our acquisition strategy is a two-year requirements type contract with a basic year and one 12 month option. The projected Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) for each year is five (5) each for an estimated total quantity of 10 for the contract.� Per FAR 52.215-3, the Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation or to otherwise pay for the information solicited except as an allowable cost under other contracts as provided in subsection 31.205-18, Bid and proposal costs, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. Responses will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. This solicitation is issued for the purpose of conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements to manufacture the C-5 survival kit container (National Stock Number 1680011761131UC / Part Number 115053-10) for use by the United States Air Force. A response is due by 7 May 2021 by 4:00 PM Eastern time.� Please see attachment for further details.
