- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. THERE WILL NOT BE A SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS, OR DRAWINGS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify qualified small business concerns that are interested in and capable of performing the work described herein and posted as a market research tool only. Project Description: Removal of Interactive Flat Panels (IFP�s) and repainting at Fort Stewart and Fort Benning Schools in Georgia. The Fort Stewart Schools are as follows: Murray Elementary School Kessler Elementary School The Fort Benning Schools are as follows: Dexter Elementary School Stowers Elementary School Faith Middle School Removal of Interactive Flat Panels (IFP�s), approximately 60� x 60�, from classroom walls and transported to a specified location within the school building. Some IFP�s are mounted onto various dry erase white boards that are mounted to the wall as well as directly to the wall surface.� Scope of Work includes repairing the walls and repainting, color match to existing walls, area of bords that are removed. Work and painting can only begin and must finish prior to students returning back to classrooms. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000.� The NAICS code applicable to this requirement is 238320, with a small business standard of $16.5 million.����������������������������� Capability Statement: We are requesting that all interested and qualified small businesses respond to this sources sought notice with a capability statement not to exceed three (3) double-sided pages.� At a minimum, the statement shall include: Firm�s name, address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address. Firm�s Cage Code and DUNS number. Firm�s interest in bidding on the solicitation when it is issued. Provide examples of your capability to successfully execute contracts of similar nature by detailing comparable work performed with brief descriptions of a minimum of three similar previous projects performed within the last 5 years (customer name, timeliness of performance, type of work, and dollar value of the project). Firm�s status as either a small or large business. If the firm has a Small Business identification, please specify which: Small Business (SB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), 8(a) Business Development Program, HUBZone Program, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), or Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB). Firm's Existing Joint Ventures including Mentor/Prot�g� and teaming arrangement information. The Government will utilize this information in determining an acquisition strategy. Please state all of the socio-economic categories in which your company belongs (i.e. 8(a), Hub-zone, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman Owned, Etc.).� This sources sought shall not be construed in any manner to be an obligation of the U.S. Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District to issue a contract, or result in any claim for reimbursement �of costs for any effort you expend responding to this request.
