- NAVSUP WSS is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research and to inform industry that the Government tends to award on a limited competitive basis. NAVSUP WSS is seeking to identify sources capable of supporting a firm fixed price repair contract for quantity 2 EA Submarine Propulsion Shafts, NSN 4Y 2010 01-111-9593 L1, part number 87713-0301 in support of the Trident Planned Equipment Replacement Program (TRIPER). TRIPER parts support the Ohio class submarines. TRIPER parts are critical to the timely completion of planned maintenance and acquisitions of the parts needed. Any resulting award will be DX rated. The anticipated North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 336611.� The Government is interested in receiving responses from all qualified sources capable of providing the services.� This notice is for informational and planning purposes only, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government, nor will the U.S. Government compensate any company who responds to this Notice. NAVSUP WSS is seeking the following information: Potential sources to repair/overhaul the item(s) listed above--Company name, address, telephone number, CAGE Code, DUNS number, business size standard and a point of contact. If your company is a small business, please identify the socioeconomic status. Capability statement including any teaming or subcontracting opportunities including any NAVSEA approved qualifications Submarine shafts are L1/SS items (attachment 1). Contractors must follow the requirements in NAVSEAINST 4855.34B (attachment 2) and NAVSEA 0924-062-0010 (attachment 3) Average production lead times for the shaft identified above and potential incentives to reduce the delivery timeframe Responses are requested no later than 07 May 2021 at 1600 EST.� Responses shall be submitted via e-mail only to Amber Wale at amber.wale@navy.mil.
