- Description
- This is a Pre-Notice, NOT�a solicitation. The Forest Service are requesting delivery services of Diesel for a 20Kw Power generator and Gasoline for field equipment, and a rental tank gasoline (160-gals). The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, tools, services, administration, facilities, supplies, materials, delivery for� Diesel and Gasoline fuel, and a gasoline tank with insurance to provide adequate and safe facilities, serviced on schedule and responsive to requests for servicing. Since Hurricane Maria, Operation trailer office at El Portal parking has been used for the mayor respond operations at el Yunque areas until Portal Visitor Center ends arrangements and be on service. The El Portal office was structural partial destroy and is underway to be restore. Contractor Requirements Delivery of Diesel Fuel Provide/re-fuel Diesel service of our Forest Service property a 20Kw manufacture by RK Power Generator for the generator. The generator was manufactured on Sept. 2017, serial # KAT-PKST-18-0003-020, Engine Perkins tier IV, diesel #2, with one(1) internal tank of 70 Gallons (gal.) and a 100 amps main breaker. One of the requirements of this SOW is to re-fuel the internal 70 gals. tank of this generator. Three (3) additional 55-gal drum There are 3 drums on a spill containment tray pan, (by the FS Operations) witch contractor is requiring refuel with new diesel fuel for Forest Service Operations that will be used to re-fuel the generator internal tank. Delivery of Gasoline Fuel and Rental Tank Contractor will also provide a temporary Gasoline tank with manual pump station, the requirements are 160 Gallons double wall with certification that is a double wall, contractor will provide one (1) copy of certification at the beginning of the contract, the tank will require to be movable/portable and with all requirements by safety on the perimeter, including grounds installed by contractor. Electrical connection of the pump dispatch will be 120 volts and will require to set up at the terminal onsite by contractor. Contract Phase-In � Installation of Tank (160 gals. for gasoline) Current gasoline tank is in place that meet current contract requirements. These are currently provided under separate contract ending 31 july 2021. Contractor is responsible for delivery and set-up of tank (approx. in 15 days), in a safety and secure location as required under this contract. The gasoline tank must be installed and ready to operates not later than 30 july 2021. Contractor is responsible for coordinating with the assigned COR (Contracting Officer Representative) who will ensure government monitoring of any required action is needed. Site visit could be conducted TBD.� Due to current COVID 19 pandemic, you shall consider all safety measures as per CDC, and State Health Care Department�s guidance.
