Description
The�Vermont Air National Guard intends to award a single firm fixed price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, appliances, and supervision necessary for repair/alterations of Airfield Markings/Painting at the 158th Fighter Wing, South Burlington, Vermont (Chittenden County) under the project number�and title�CURZ212301, Airfield Painting Project. CURZ212301, Airfield Painting Project:�Repainting of all identified markings on the base�s Airfield surfaces, to include: Yellow Taxiline Centerlines with Black border lines in Aircraft Shelters Yellow Holding Pad Taxi lines with Black border lines Yellow Holding Pad Shoulder markings with Black border lines Yellow Aircraft Parking spot Nose Wheel marks with Black border lines. White Aircraft towing guide lines with Black border lines. Yellow Aircraft Grounding point location circles with Black border and text. White Vehicle parking and Equipment storage area lines White Vehicle stop bars Yellow Hangar door safety hazard zone markings Black Hangar door Danger signs with White backgrounds Red Hangar door hazard signs White Facility Hangar Door Clear Zone boundary lines Red Facility Restricted Area lines Black and Red Facility Restricted Area signs with White background Red HEF System markings in Aircraft Shelters Red Fire Department building connection clear zone markings Eradication of existing markings as designated on project plans. Removal of existing paint will be completed without damage to pavement surface. A combination of mechanical and chemical means may be necessary. Suggested products for use are Starblast blasting abrasive by Dupont, and Smart Strip PRO by Dumond. This project is being procured as Small Business Set-Aside.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 237310, with a size standard of $39,500,000.00.� The magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $250,000.00.� The date for the pre-bid conference/site visit is detailed in the solicitation.� Interested contractors are encourage to attend and shall follow conference registrations and base access requirements shown in the solicitation. �All questions for the pre-bid conference must be submitted by NLT 48 hours prior to the pre-bid via email to�randy.brittingham.1@us.af.mil. The bid opening date is identified in the solicitation.� Interested offerors must be registered in beta.SAM. The solicitation and associated information and the plans and specifications will be available only from the beta.SAM.gov Website under Contract Opportunities formerly Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps). Contract Opportunities is a web-based dissemination tool within Beta.SAM.gov designed to safeguard acquisition-related information for all Federal agencies. Interested bidders/offerors must register with beta.SAM.gov before accessing the system.� Registration instructions can be found on the beta.SAM.gov website at�https://beta.sam.gov. Contractors who do not already have a MPIN are advised that the normal processing is 7 to 15 business days to obtain a MPIN password that will give them access to the plans and specifications, which are located in the controlled access location on beta.SAM.gov.
