- Description
- The US Army Futures Command, Combat Capabilities Development Command � Soldier Center (CCDC-SC), Natick Contracting Division, intends to award a firm, fixed-price contract under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Only One Responsible Source, and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Government Requirements, seventy-five (75) Fatigue Science ReadiBands, which are wrist-worn devices used to quantify sleep quality and estimated readiness via actigraphy. Fatigue Science (d.b.a. Sleep Performance Inc.) is the only responsible source capable of providing the required devices, as their ReadiBand� delivers users� daily sleep-specific feedback in the form of an algorithmically determined �Readiness Score.� This score is derived from the SAFTE� (Sleep, Activity, Fatigue, and Task Effectiveness) fatigue model (exclusive to Fatigue Science) to provide individual and group fatigue analytics and alertness predictions. A firm-fixed-price contract will be issued. This is not a request for quotes. No solicitation package is available. Any responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
