- The VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) in San Juan, Puerto Rico, has a requirement for Driver and Preventive Maintenance Program for two Medical Mobile Unit Vehicles Station at the US Virgen Island (VI) (St. Thomas and St. Croix) The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 485991: Special Need Transportation and the size standard is $16.5 Million. The applicable NAICS shall be listed in company System of Award Management (SAM) at the time of quotation submission and record shall be active. Period of performance for this acquisition will consist of a Base Period and four (4) twelve (12) months Option Periods. The VA anticipates issuing a solicitation for this requirement on or about April 27, 2021. This requirement will be 100% set-aside for Small Business Tiered evaluations for small business concerns. The different tiered levels are as follow: 1st: Service Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), 2nd: Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) and 3rd: All other Small Business. All questions shall be submitted IN WRITING via e-mail to israel.rodriguez-perez@va.gov no later than May 7, 2021 close of business. Response to questions will be provided via amendment to solicitation. Solicitation and amendments will be available in electronic format ONLY. Once the solicitation is posted, interested vendors are responsible to review and monitor this website frequently to ensure that they have most up to date information about this acquisition. Offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments. The Government will evaluate quotations using the comparative evaluation process outlined in FAR 13.106-2 (b) (3) and the evaluation criteria stated in the solicitation package. The Government intends to award a single firm fixed price type contract.
