- Description
- The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Naval Research & Development Establishment Support Office (NRDE), has a NEW requirement to procure construction services for mechanical / heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) projects for the Public Works Departments supporting the U.S. Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Mayland; Naval Support Facility Indian Head, Maryland; and the Naval Support Facility Dahlgren, Virginia locations.� This Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)�will provide support to procure construction, repairs, and renovations in the areas of general purpose plumbing, sound and vibration control, ventilation and exhaust systems, basic mechanical materials and methods, plumbing and piping for HVAC, testing/adjusting/balancing, insulation, instrumentation and control, boilers, chillers, and cooling towers, and unitary HVAC equipment.� The period of performance will consist of a 1-year Base period, and four 1-year Option periods.� This will be a firm fixed price contract with a total estimated value of $125,000,000; inclusive of all Options. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for the IDIQ is 238220- Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors with a size standard of $16.5 million.� Based on Market Research, this procurement will be an 8(a) Set-Aside.� The solicitation is estimated to be posted on or around 10 May 2021.
