Description
The 765th ABS/CONF/PKA at Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation, FA448621Q0004, as a Request for Quote (RFQ) prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, & FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation is for Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), Badging and Access Control System (ACS), and Intrusion Detection Monitoring (IDS) system, to include delivery, removal of current infrastructure and installation of all new infrastructure, in order to enhance the security of Bldgs. T-612, Passenger Terminal, and T-709, Passenger Freight at Lajes Field. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561621 � SECURITY SYSTEMS SERVICES. SUMMARY REQUIREMENTS. The contractor shall design, procure, install, integrate, and test a CCTV, ACS, and IDS integrated system that meets the requirements identified in this PWS. The contractor shall manage removal of the existing systems to include but not be limited to wiring, mounting equipment, displays, and infrastructure supporting the current system. The contractor shall manage delivery of all CCTV, ACS, and IDS components that meet industry standards and use approved equipment, as identified, in this PWS. The contractor is responsible for all necessary actions to the CCTV, ACS and IDS, to ensure all interoperable systems are fully operational in accordance with (IAW) the Original Equipment Manager (OEM) specifications. The contractor will also be responsible for all installation items to include but not be limited to installation and associated infrastructure which is not on the equipment list. The contractor shall conduct verification testing of the system and subsystems, support all phases of Government acceptance testing, and provide site?specific training. The contractor shall also provide Interim Contractor Support if ordered by the Government.�The contractor will be responsible for all transportation costs associated with this acquisition. The minimum performance requirements for all items are detailed in the attached Statement of Work.� Please note that for quotes provided for items which are not Section 889 compliant IAW the John McCain National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) of 2019, the Government will not be able to consider your quotes. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract, IAW FAR 16.202. This solicitation is intended to result in a single award. Please be advised that this RFQ in no manner obligates the Government regarding award of a contract that results from the issuance of this solicitation. Vendors must have an active www.SAM.gov registration at the time of award to be considered.
