- Introduction: The purpose of this sources sought request is to obtain information and comments from interested and potential sources concerning the capability to manufacture B-2 LH Rudder part P/N DAA31500668-005 Hinge, P/N DAA31500670-001 Hinge, P/N DAA31500672-007 Hinge, P?N DAA315000674-007 Hinge, P/N DAA3150A660-021 DP Tee, P/N DAA3150A660-023 DP Tee. The USAF B2 LH Upper Rudders are currently maintained under a two-level maintenance concept comprised of Intermediate and Depot levels. The intent of this SSS is to identify potential sources to one time manufacture the LH Upper Rudder parts. The objective is for manufacturing certifying and delivering fracture critical New Build Hinges and Hardware for Hill Air Force Base (HAFB).� Qualification Requirements (QRs) and Statement of Work data would be available when a solicitation is posted on Beta.Sam. The NAICs code for this effort is 336412. The applicable QR, RQR-PSD-1 Rev 3, is available here:�https://www.tinker.af.mil/Portals/106/RQR-PSD-1%2028-Jan-2020.pdf The Air Force is hereby soliciting capability statements from interested sources in support of all six B-2 LH Upper Rudder Parts listed above.� Scope: This SSS is directed to potential contractors who have demonstrated experience in the areas of manufacture of B2 Flight controls (LH Upper Rudder) fracture critical parts. Description(s): This SSS is directed to potential contractors who have demonstrated experience in the areas of manufacture of B2 Flight controls (LH Upper Rudder) fracture critical parts. Manufacturing certifying and delivering fracture critical New Build Hinges and Hardware in to support� Hill Air Force Base (HAFB) LH Rudder production. Contractor shall furnish all material, support equipment, tools, test equipment, facilities, and services.� Government Furnished Material forgings for the hinges will be provided with Hill AFB 309th MXDXA Office approval. The use of Contractor Furnished Material in support of this manufacturing effort shall not impact existing government parts support contracts. The anticipated period of performance includes a one year basic contract. Include contract numbers, a brief description of the work performed, period of performance, agency/organization supported, and individual point of contact (Contracting Officer or Program Manager). What quality assurance processes and test qualification practices does your company employ? Please provide a description of your quality program (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.) Include a detailed listing of facilities and equipment, including quantities, required to satisfy the requirements of this effort. Describe your capability and experiences in the high tolerance machining of forgings.
