- Description
- This is a competitive 100% Small Business Set-aside Invitation for Bid (IFB). The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 237130 with a size standard of $39.5 million. This acquisition will be handled as an IFB prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 14 and 36. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. The project magnitude is estimated between to $750,000 and $2,500,000. Place of performance will be in two separate locations: Redding and Williams, CA. The purpose of this project is Installation of 230-kV Government-furnished SSVT�s and associated material. Installation of 115-kV Government-furnished station service transformer and associated material. Installation of automatic transfer switch, safety switches, main distribution panel and associated station service equipment including yard panels, dry-type pad mounted transformers, insulated conductors, conduit, concrete foundations, and support structures for station service equipment. Providing foundations and galvanized streel structures for electrical equipment. Providing and installing precast cable trench, removal of cable/equipment after station service cutover at Keswick Substation. �Removal of existing Unit Substation DZA, removal of one (1) pad mount transformer designated KZ11A, installation of one (1) pad mount transformer, one (1) automatic transfer switch, one (1) safety switch, one (1) main distribution panel, one (1) outdoor distribution panel and associated station service equipment, and removal of cable/equipment after station service cutover at Maxwell Substation.� � The solicitation, specifications and drawings, and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet free of charge.
