Description

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for software licenses and software license maintenance of Thermal Desktop software modules, including Thermal Desktop, SINDA/FLUINT, RadCAD, FloCAD, SinapsPlus, Thermal Adaptor for Space Claim and Mesh Generation for Space Claim.� This requirement will include software maintenance support for the existing Cullimore and Ring Technologies software modules, as well as additional Agency-wide software licenses for Thermal Adaptor for SpaceClaim, and Mesh Generation for Space Claim. NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to Cullimore & Ring Technologies, Inc. (C&R), 2501 Briarwood Drive, Boulder, CO 80305 under the authority of FAR 13.501. It has been determined that Cullimore & Ring Technologies, Inc. (C&R) is the sole provider of Thermal Desktop, SINDA/FLUINT, RadCAD, FloCAD, SinapsPlus, Thermal Adaptor for SpaceClaim and Mesh Generation for Space Claim. The proposed contract will have a period of performance consisting of one year. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 511210 Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Caitlin Poulton; Caitlin.M.Poulton@nasa.gov or Megan Bang; Megan.A.Bang@nasa.gov not later than 4:00 PM CT on April 29, 2021.� Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis.� A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
