Description

Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, Joint Base San Antonio, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source contract to Abbott Laboratories Inc., under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i)- Only One Source Reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreement, brand name or industrial mobilization) for the purchase of MitralClip G4 system for the San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC), JBSA-Fort Sam Houston Texas.� The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334516 - Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing.� The notice is not a request for competitive quotes.� Interested and capable sources who submit capabilities in support of this requirement are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature.� The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. Due to the urgency of need, this requirement will be sole sourced.� Any capabilities received in response to this notice shall be considered for the future requirements.� No requests for capability briefings or telephonic inquires will be honored.
