Description
1. Purpose The purpose of this requirement is to acquire services to assist 6th Security Forces Squadron, in performing maintenance and repair of the assigned small vessels at MacDill AFB, Tampa, Florida. The service provider shall perform all work in accordance with all applicable laws, and commercial practices. ***The Government reserves the right to pay for any and all services with the Government Purchase Card at no additional cost.*** 1.1. Description of Services The service provider shall furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to simultaneously perform operations, vessel maintenance repair, shipyard-level maintenance, servicing, and inspecting 1.2 Watercraft Vessel Operating Systems The service provider shall provide maintenance for all Watercraft Vessel Operating Systems. The service provider shall maintain watercraft in accordance with all applicable Technical Orders, and Service Manuals related to the government assigned vessels. All policies of Air Force Instructions, Technical Orders and applicable service manuals shall apply to the specific areas that are applicable to current watercraft operations. Maintenance required consists of, but is not limited to, (1) maintenance and upkeep of outboard boat engines, (2) operational checkout of watercraft and installed equipment, (3) exercise warranty repair/replacement items. The maintenance areas must include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following: interior/exterior watercraft surfaces areas upkeep: decks, super structures, hulls, below waterline (propellers, shafts, intake(s), water scoops, transducers, hull zinc/anodes), bulkheads, bilges, voids, generator compartments, cradles, rails, throttle controls, emergency alarm/stops, bilge pumps, couplings, cathodic protection (anodes), steering, air condition unit, sponson repairs/replacement, removal/installation of outboard engines and related equipment, and removal/installation of outboard engine components. 1.3 Supply The service provider shall operate and manage a supply of routine maintenance parts necessary to return boats to service within 24 hours.
