Description
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Delivery, rental, and pickup of 9 utility carts. Carts must be gas powered with utility bed cargo space at least 27� L x 39� W x 10� deep for transporting campground maintenance tools and bags of trash. DELIVERY LOCATION: Logger Campground at Stampede Reservoir and Truckee Ranger Station � 6 Carts shall be delivered to Logger Campground in the Ranger Loop. The remaining 3 carts will be delivered to the Truckee Ranger Station. The Forest Service will then distribute to work sites throughout the Tahoe National Forest.� Directions to Logger CG: Via Interstate 80: Take the Hirschdale exit. Then take Stampede Dam Rd. north, turn left towards Stampede Dam and Logger Campground. Campground will be on right approximately 1 mile after Dam Crossing. Once in campground, take first left and then first left towards the Amphitheater. Via Hwy 89: Go north from Truckee, turn right on Hobart Mills Rd., left on Dog Valley Rd, and left into Logger Campground's east entrance (with kiosk). Once in Campground, make the first left and then take a right into Ranger Loop (look for signs for the amphitheater).� Directions to Truckee Ranger Station: Take Highway 80 to Exit 188A towards Truckee, turn right onto Donner Pass Road, At the traffic circle take the 3rd exit onto Stockrest Springs Road. Address: 10811 Stockrest Springs Road Truckee, CA 96161. 04/27/2021 - AMENDMENT 1 INCORPORATES THE FOLLOWING CHANGES (SEE AMENDMENT DOCUMENT IN ATTACHMENTS SECTION).� DELIVERY DATE:�Estimated May 15, 2021 EXPECTED PERIOD OF USE: From date of delivery to September 10, 2021 with the possibility of keeping half/all utility carts until October 15, 2021. Delivery, use, and pickup dates are estimates and subject to change by the Tahoe National Forest, depending on weather and road conditions; COVID-19 direction from the federal, state, and local governments; and operating dates of the campgrounds. OPTION YEARS: This contract will include a Base Year (estimated May 15-Oct 15 2021) plus 4 Option Years that may be exercised at the discretion of the Government should rentals be needed for the recreation seasons of 2022-2025 (approx. May 15-Oct 15 each year). The contractor should price the Option line items with consideration of estimated future operating costs to the best extent possible. Exercise of Options is unilateral on the part of the Government and will be made at the quoted prices established at time of initial contract award. There is no guarantee of Option Years being exercised; decision will be made year by year dependent on the current needs of the Government. OFFERS DUE: May 5, 2021 by 3:00 p.m. PST ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS (SECTION I) 52.217-5�Evaluation of Options (July 1990) Except when it is determined in accordance with FAR�17.206(b) not to be in the Government�s best interests, the Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. Evaluation of options will not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s). (End of provision) 52.217-9�Option to Extend the Term of the Contract (Mar 2000) ������(a)�The Government may extend the term of this contract by written notice to the Contractor within�_____ [insert the period of time within which the Contracting Officer may exercise the option]; provided that the Government gives the Contractor a preliminary written notice of its intent to extend at least�_____�days[60days unless a different number of days is inserted] before the contract expires. The preliminary notice does not commit the Government to an extension. ������(b)�If the Government exercises this option, the extended contract shall be considered to include this option clause. ������(c)�The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options under this clause, shall not exceed�___________ (months) (years).
