- TITLE OF PROJECT: Roadway Striping at the Rocky Mountain National Park, CO. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $250,000 and $500,000. NAICS 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction with a size standard of $39.5 Million. PRODUCT SERVICE CODE: Z1LB Maintenance of Highways, Roads, Streets, Bridges, and Railways. SET-ASIDE: Total Small Business (FAR 19.5). PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Rocky Mountain National Park, CO DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, materials, quality control, safety, traffic control, and supervision to paint all stripes and pavement markings of roadways, intersections, and parking areas as listed in the Statement of Work (SOW). The Contractor shall perform all work in accordance with the recommendations of the Manual Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD 2009). All products must meet the specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway Projects (FP-14), 2014, as published by the Federal Highway Administration. All materials and application shall comply with the specifications outlined in Section 02618: Pavement Marking of the SOW. BASE BID: A. Trail Ridge Road Striping: 43 miles long with a double yellow centerline and white edge line/fog lines. 5.35 miles of Trail Ridge Road�s 43 miles is skip line or passing zones. Trail Ridge Road elevation ranges from approximately 8,000 feet to 12,183 feet above sea level. B. Bear Lake Road Striping: 9.4 miles long with a double yellow centerline and white edge line/fog lines. Bear Lake Road elevation ranges from approximately 8,000 feet to 9,900 feet above sea level. C. Beaver Meadows Road Striping: 2.5 miles long with a double yellow centerline and white edge line/fog lines. OPTION 1: Pavement marking symbols on roadway. 53 arrows in total. 10 misc. symbols. OPTION 2: Parking area markings on all parking lots as designated by the Contracting Officer. Parking area markings include all parking stall lines, hatched areas, misc. symbols, stop lines, arrows, and ABA accessible symbols. Rocky Mountain National Park has 46 parking areas. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Estimated period of performance is June 28, 2021 to September 30, 2021. PROPOSED SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P1221R0005. PROPOSED SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE: Estimated on or about May 11, 2021. SOLICITATION LOCATION: The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on Contract Opportunities at www.beta.sam.gov.
