Description

AMENDMENT 0001 - POSTING Q&A RESPONSES AND UPDATES TO THE PWS, OFFER DUE DATE REMAINS THE SAME. SOLICITATION: The Contractor shall manage and operate a Contractor-Owned and Contractor-Operated (COCO) business to provide laundry and dry cleaning services for locations on Oahu;�the following locations are Fort Shafter, Schofield Bks., Wheeler Army Air Field, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam and Hawaii Army National Guard at various locations. Contractor will provide pick-up and delivery service at those locations. Laundry and Dry cleaning contract service will be on a reimbursable basis with tenant and organizational Funeral Detail Class �A� Military Dress Uniform, as it relates to life, health, and safety. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, management, materials, and transportation to perform the operation of the Contractor-Owned Contractor-Operated (COCO) Laundry and Dry Cleaning requirement. The Contractor shall furnish labor, supervision, transportation for pickup and delivery services for the Contractor-Owned Contractor-Operated (COCO) Laundry and Dry Cleaning requirement providing supplies, vehicles, tools, materials, necessary for the performance of dry cleaning, organizational bulk and piece rate customer laundry services for U.S. Army locations already identified. �This contract includes functions, tasks and responsibilities normally inherent to a laundry and dry cleaning facility. �The Contractor shall receive, account for, process and return articles tendered for laundry and/or dry cleaning.�The Contractor shall establish and maintain a system of records to quantify work performed and shall prepare administrative correspondence and reports incidental to the work covered in this contract. �The Contractor shall ensure that only authorized individuals are afforded laundry services and shall operate piece rate services. Services shall be performed in compliance with the standards as contained or referenced in this contract. �The Contractor shall schedule and manage operations to maximize responsiveness, efficiency and economy to the United States Army community.
