Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY�- Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for the provision of Solid Waste Collection at the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) located at 4700 Bureau Road South, Terre Haute, Indiana 47802. The NAICS Code is 562111 (Size Standard: $41.5 million). All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with all Federal and State policies and regulations. The contractor will be responsible for collecting and disposing of solid waste material from FCC Terre Haute in accordance with the Statement of Work as well as all Federal EPA, state, and local regulations.� All licenses, permits, and fees related to the trash removal are the responsibility of the contractor. All equipment, hydraulic fluid, including dumpster/containers and controls are to be supplied by the contractor. The Government contemplates awarding a single requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the forthcoming solicitation. A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website at beta.sam.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
