- SOURCES SOUGHT -�OFFICE FURNITURE T-100 Description: The 765 ABS/CONF/PKA is conducting market research to determine potential sources located in Terceira Island, AZORES, PORTUGAL, that are capable of providing Office Furniture (Executive and Non-Executive) to be delivered and installed at Lajes Air Field Base, Terceira Island, AZORES, PORTUGAL. The North American Standard Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for this acquisition is 337214 Office Furniture (except wood), padded, upholstered, or plain (except wood), manufacturing and the Product Service Code 7110 Office Furniture. This Sources Sought Notice serves as a market research tool and is being used for planning purposes to determine availability of sources prior to determining the method of acquisition. No award will be made from this Sources Sought. Background: The 765 ABS/CONF/PKA has identified potential need for various items of Office Furniture to include but not limited to items such as desks, chairs, pedestals and storage cabinets. Potential companies/entities must be capable of providing Office Furniture products that are of executive and non-executive but professional appearance. Such companies/entities shall also provide delivery and installation of all products. Per the Agreement on Cooperation and Defense between the United States of America and Portugal Technical Agreement, Article VIII Procurement on the Local Market, when procuring services, Portuguese sources are to be used whenever feasible. General Information: This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. The Government is seeking industry�s input to determine the availability of qualified sources with the technical capability to fulfill the requirement described above. No contract awards will be made from this notice and no solicitation is available on beta.SAM.gov at this time. In order to develop a sound acquisition strategy, early industry participation is highly encouraged; however, participation in this effort is strictly voluntary. All costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought will be solely at the interested party�s expense. The Government will not reimburse costs and will not be liable for any costs associated with responses to this procurement notice. Respondents will not be notified of the responses to this notice. Responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
