Description
Page 2 of 2 This is a sources sought announcement only. This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract will be award from this announcement. The purpose of this announcement is to perform market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified small businesses relative to NAICS 541430, Graphic Design Services with a size standard $8.0 Million. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 16 (NCO 16) is seeking to identify any small business capable of providing an integrated wayfinding system in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs, John L. McClellan (JLM) Memorial Veterans Hospital, 4300 W. 7th St., Little Rock, Arkansas 72205. The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System has two primary campuses, the John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital in Little Rock and the Eugen J. Towbin VA Medical Center on the campus of Fort Roots in North Little Rock.  The Little Rock facility and the Fort Roots campus have and are undergoing construction upgrades and facility reconfigurations.  The Little Rock hospital is preparing for a major main entrance renovation project that will result in a whole new first floor profile and layout.  Current maps and visitor information is woefully out of date.  Updates are needed but additional adjustments that take into account construction changes should be considered.  Currently, Veterans, caregivers, family members and visitors have difficulty navigating the two main facilities despite oral information offerings. The following are performance objectives of this requirement: A web-based, online, mapping/wayfinding system that is fully integrated with printed visitor guides, kiosks and staff informational assistance. A printed visitor guide that combines maps and information from the two main facilities and eight community clinics into one updatable, low-print volume, publication that is fully integrated with the online mapping/wayfinding system. Kiosk that are also fully integrated with the printed publication and the online mapping/wayfinding system. A maintenance program/system that accounts for and supports mapping/wayfinding/information updates. Prior to issuing a solicitation, and pursuant to the Veterans First Contracting Program, the VA is trying to ascertain if there are any qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) with the capability of providing the above services: (Respondents are not limited to SDVOSB/VOSB concerns; the Government seeks to identify all potentially interested sources). Responses to these sources sought must include the following information: 1. Your company name, address, contact person name, phone number, fax number, e-mail address(s) and DUNS number and company website if available. 2. Your company GSA/FSS contract number if available. 3. Socio-economic status of business (i.e. SDVOSB/VOSB, 8(a), HUB Zone, Women Owned Small Business, Small disadvantaged business, or Small Business HUB Zone business) 4. Capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. 5. Prices Interested vendor should submit an email to troy.davis@va.gov. All responses must be received in writing no later than 2:00 PM CST on May 4, 2021. Questions or inquiries will not be answered or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided. No solicitation document is available at this time; this notice is to acquire information only. Vendors interested in providing an offer will have to respond to a solicitation announcement that shall be published separately.
