Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to issue sole-source firm-fixed one-time procurement of Stryker System 8 Drills for use at Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center, 109 Bee Street, Charleston, SC 29401. A sole source procurement will be issued to Stryker Instruments. The equipment requested are a complete set of Stryker System 8 Drills. This is for dental surgeries. The equipment must be compatible and integrate with the existing equipment already in place. Due to the specialized nature of the equipment, it must be utilized by personnel with a high level of training and qualifications. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b)(2), ""soliciting from a sole source."" The NAICS code is 339112 and has a size standard of 1,000 employees for this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than 1:00pm EST, May 4, 2021 to: Benford.Brundage@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Disclaimer and Important Notes: This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After a review of the responses received, a pre-solicitation synopsis and solicitation may be published on beta.sam.gov. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. Determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
