- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Networking Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to negotiate and award a sole source firm fixed price order to TrillaMed, LLC. (verified SDVOSB) for the upgrade and expansion of the current GE CARESCAPE Telemetry Monitoring System in place at the Salem VA Medical Center, 1970 Roanoke Blvd., Salem VA 24513. In accordance with 41 USC §3304(a)(5), 38 U.S. Code § 8127(c), as implemented by FAR 6.302-5 (Authorized or Required by Statute). The Contracting Officer may use the non-competitive (sole source) procedures authorized in VAAR 819.7007, Sole Source Awards to a verified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, interested parties may identify their interest by submitting supporting evidence in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement by May 5, 2021 4:00 pm (EST). Information can be sent to Cherisse.Hall@va.gov. Responses received may be considered by the Government, however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, Network Contracting Office 6 will proceed with the sole source negotiation with TrillaMed, LLC. as noted herein. Costs associated with the preparation and submission of information and/or any follow-up information requests are the responsibility of the vendor and these costs will not be reimbursed by the Government.
