Description

This posted�announcement is a Pre-Solicitation Synopsis of a proposed contract action�in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.207. The Mission Installation Contracting Command - Fort Leavenworth intends to issue an Invitation for Bid�(IFB) for a Requirements type contract�(FAR Subpart 16.503)�for the acquisition of DOD 8570.01-m baseline certifications to include other practical I.T. training for Government I.T. personnel to maintain required job certifications�at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. General Scope: Training shall comply with applicable DOD, and local regulations and policies regarding Department of Defense Information Security.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 611420 (Computer Training). The small business size standard is $12.0 million average annual revenue for the previous five years. This requirement will be a Total Small Business set-aside procured utilizing Sealed Bidding Procedures specified in FAR Part 14. The government anticipates an award will be made to a responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation for bids; will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price related factors included in the invitation.� This anticipated contract will consist of a Base Award Period of one (1) calendar year, and two (4) one-year option periods. Total contract period, to include options, shall not exceed five (5) calendar years. Task Orders will range from $15,000 to $100,000.00. The total of individual task orders placed against the resulting Requirements Contract will be dependent upon the Government�s bonafide and available funding Fiscal Year to Fiscal Year (e.g. some years there is potential for zero Task Orders where some Fiscal Years there may be a dozen or more). It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available Wednesday May 19th, 2021. �The site visit (Pre-Proposal Conference) is to be held 10:30am CST, Thursday May 20th, 2021 at via Microsoft Teams. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and should register with the Contracting Officer, Mr. Robert M. Parvin via e-mail at robert.m.parvin.civ@mail.mil. �The dates contained within the attached Draft Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the Solicitation closing date are estimates only and subject to change.� All information, amendments and questions concerning this solicitation will be posted to https://Beta.SAM.gov.
