- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Project Title: UL-Scope and Accessories Announcement No.: 36C24621Q0620 The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed-Price delivery order, against an Federal Supply Schedule contract, for a 3 commercial-of-the-shelf (COTS) UL-Scopes, visual obturators, and UL-Scope 20F sheaths for Fayetteville VAMC. These items are replacement parts and accessories for the Urolift trays/NEOTRAC system that is currently in use by the Medical Center s Urology department. The total estimated value is $15,141.09. Market research has been conducted through a sources sought notice posted to Beta.Sam.gov on 4/29/2021 and closed on 5/4/2021. The sources sought notice sought interested vendors able to provide the brand name product or a compatible product able to meet the Governments need. No responses were received to this notice and thus the Government will seek to sole source this procurement. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective of the Department of Veterans Affairs Fayetteville Urology Department. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is not a request for quote or proposals.
