- Description
- The General Services Administration, 230 S Dearborn St, Chicago, IL 60604, intends to issue a sole source Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to The Escal Institute of Advanced Technologies, Inc. (DBA: SANS Institute), 11200 Rockville Pike Suite 200, North Bethesda MD 20852-3103.� This effort is for the purchase of Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certification renewal vouchers.� The SANS Institute is the governing body for the GIAC certifications.� They developed and control the policies and procedures for purchasing certification tests and renewal vouchers.� SANS is the sole source provider for GIAC certification exams and exam vouchers and the only company that can fulfill the Government�s requirement.� A request for quotation is expected to be issued on 5 May 2021.� Anticipated award date is 8 June 2021.� The resultant BPA will be Firm Fixed Price with a five-year base ordering period.� The period of performance is contingent upon award.� �� The authority for this sole source action is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency requirements. Any company that can provide the required GIAC vouchers may request a copy of the solicitation no later than 10 May 2021 via the following email address: Reagan.criddle@gsa.gov Oral requests will not be accepted. Responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
